Rental turnover drives a lot of the work here, along with the toll salt air takes on outdoor furniture, grills and decking. Island streets are narrow and many homes sit up on pilings, so we bring the manpower to carry rather than counting on driveway access. Because of the distance from Wilmington, full turnovers and cleanouts fit better than single-item pickups.
Brunswick County has its own transfer facilities, so loads from this side of the river usually do not have to cross back into Wilmington before we can dump them.
